I’m very happy with the work H&M Construction did at my home, and I would absolutely recommend Eddie and his team.

This was a big exterior project, so I did my homework before hiring anyone. I got multiple quotes, spoke with different contractors, compared scope and pricing, and asked a lot of questions. Eddie stood out from the beginning because he was responsive, professional, straightforward, and practical. He gave me confidence that he knew what he was doing.

The project ended up including a new paver driveway, walkways, retaining walls, drainage improvements with a dry well, garage concrete floor work, waterproofing around the garage/foundation, grading, stone border work, and a lot of finishing details. It was a large job with many moving pieces, and his crew worked hard and showed up consistently. The property looks completely different now, and the curb appeal improved dramatically.

What I appreciated most is that Eddie treated the project like it was his own. He was not just trying to finish a contract and move on. When things came up, he helped solve them. He added sand between existing pavers where previous work had not been finished properly, helped fix an electrical outlet issue, addressed sprinkler items that were not part of the original scope, and even helped with a small walkway at cost. He did not have to do those things, but he did, and that meant a lot.

There were also permit requirements that came up during the project. The permit was an extra cost, which is never ideal, but on a project of this size it was understandable, and Eddie handled the process.

Big projects always involve decisions, changes, and a few unexpected issues. What mattered to me was that Eddie stayed involved, communicated, kept the work moving, and made me feel like he cared about the final result. I honestly got the sense that he was proud of the work and that his reputation mattered to him.

The finished result speaks for itself. I’m very happy with the driveway, walls, drainage, garage work, and overall transformation. I would recommend H&M Construction and Eddie to anyone looking for serious paver, masonry, drainage, waterproofing, or exterior improvement work.

If I could give a higher number than 5 I would.  We had a fantastic experience with these guys- it started out with us needing a new walkway, and it turned into the walkway plus new pavers under our deck creating a beautiful and welcoming patio.  Already planning a next project!

H&M Contruction and their crew did a great job doing our retaining wall ,patio and small deck. They were professional, organized, puntual and transformed our backyard into a beautiful place for us to hangout.
